Mens A match at Alsager A never started and Mens D hopes of clinching promotion from division two were put on hold as their match at Nantwich B was abandoned at 1.5-0.5 to Congleton as a result of a heavy downpour and lethal court conditions.Andrew Giltrap/Zac Shaikh and Adam Goodall/Tim Dean will need to return in two weeks time to complete the match.They can however seal promotion next Tuesday at Bentley Motors A

On wednesday Mens A returned to action with a 4-0 win over Stone A in the City and Suburban League

On thursday both C teams recorded 8-0 wins.Ladies C team of Di Dyson/Rachael Barlow and Louise Davies/Hannah Wilkinson beat Alsager B to clinch promotion to division two and Mens C were winners by the same scoreline at Nantwich Farmers
